Under The Stars has got to be one of our favorite events to play in. We only got to play in the event back in 2019. It just so happened that the first time we ever played in Under the Stars, an event hosted by the Loyola Film Circle in the Philippines was the same day we released our first song on all major streaming platforms. It's a cute and exciting event featuring indie films produced by the students of the Ateneo De Manila University in Manila, Philippines.
Picture a venue as big as a football field while being on an actual field. It was filled with students, couples and best friends (or in Filipino slang Barkadas) renting out carpets and straw mats or banigs to cover the wet grass so that they could all sit and enjoy the view of a gigantic LED screen running the student made indie films. They don't show full length feature films mind you! most of the films are short 15-30 minute skits. So to fill in the gaps, the team behind the event invites performers like bands and dance groups to perform in between films. We were lucky enough to be one of those performers and we hope we get to play there again when this pandemic leaves us the heck alone!
